Window Envelopes for office use ~ These envelopes can be donated envelopes with a return address which we can put a Helias Catholic return label over. The window opening needs to be on the left side.
One-sided paper ~ We are also in need of good one-sided
paper that we can use in our copiers. It would be very helpful if it is
all turned the same direction so it can just be dropped into the paper tray.

Looking for something to do to celebrate the end of finals? How about joining the Helias Cycling Club for the second annual longest night of the year bike ride? We will meet at the bus shelter at the corner of Lafayette Street and Capitol Avenue at 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 21st. (There is parking available along both Lafayette and Capitol.) We will ride along the newly striped bike lanes on Capitol Avenue and stop by to see the Governor’s Christmas tree and also the Mayor’s Christmas tree at Bolivar Street. From there we will cross the river to a warm fire on the river bank at the Noren River Access. With the fire comes s’mores and hot chocolate. After warming up and having our fill of chocolate, we will ride back across the river and swing through downtown to see the Christmas lights before heading back to our cars.
Since it will be dark you will need a white light on the front of your bike. This can be as simple as strapping a small flashlight to your handle bar with rubber bands or duct tape. You will need a red rear reflector too, but most bikes already have one. We have several helmets available for those who might need one.
Please RSVP by text to 291-8261 if you want to come so that we can be sure to have enough marshmallows. All family members are welcome to join in the fun.
