PSAT and Dual Credit
PSAT Additional Test Date
A second PSAT exam date is being added for January 2020. If your student is signed up for the PSAT on Oct. 14, and is a junior, they may defer taking the test until January. Please have them talk to Mrs. Toosley in the Student Success Center, to defer to the later date by Oct. 2. There are currently 10 spots left for the October PSAT.
If your student is not yet signed up for the test, is a junior, and wishes to take the test in January, please be on the lookout for the sign up in October. We do not yet have the option to register students for the January exam.
The PSAT cost is $20, and taking it prepares students for college admission tests and encourages them to consider college as an option. By taking the PSAT, students also compete for national scholarships like the National Merit Scholarship and are placed on college mailing lists.
