The Helias Catholic High School boys golf team of Lake Bennett, Harper Neidert, Grayson Moore, Dawson Schnieders and Andre Vargas set a new school record for 18-hole team score with a total of 289 strokes in their district championship win May 12 at Briarbrook Golf Course.

The standing record of 291 was first set in 2003 by the team of Connor McHenry, Troy Scherr, Todd Schonhardt and Andrew Dampf, then tied in 2024 by the team of Archer Schnieders, Dawson Schnieders, Burke Bauer and Jordan Shivers.
