Tuition & Affordability

Thanks to the stewardship, partnership, and generosity of our community and local parishes, Helias Catholic offers affordable tuition rates far below the national average and the actual cost to educate a student.

Helias Catholic is in a phased process of updating the tuition and fee structure to sufficiently support school operations in line with our mission to provide an excellent Catholic education. The tuition rates for active Catholic students and for non-Catholic students will increase by $250 per year through the 2027-28 school year, as outlined below.

* Helias Catholic offers a fundraising opportunity each fall for students participating in MSHSAA sports and activities to offset the annual activities participation fee through the sale of NFL raffle cards for students. Students who sell six cards have $125 of the fee waived, and students who sell 15 cards have the entire $275 fee waived.

Cost to Educate

The cost to educate a Helias Catholic student is $11,377; the tuition rate for families who are active Catholic parishioners is only $3,250. If you would like to help reduce this tuition gap to support our school’s mission and operations, please make a tax-deductible donation to the school or contribute to The Foundation for the Benefit of Helias Catholic High School’s annual Bridge the Gap fund drive.

Tuition Assistance

Tuition assistance is available for students whose families qualify based on financial need.

Tuition assistance applications are submitted as part of the enrollment process. Families must re-apply for tuition assistance each school year. Please visit the FACTS Financial Aid page for more information and to apply, and contact the school’s Finance Office with any questions.

Applications for tuition assistance for the 2024-25 school year must be submitted by May 24, 2024. Families will receive notification of tuition assistance determination from the Helias Catholic Finance Office.

Families can choose from a range of tuition payment plans, from a single lump-sum payment to payment divided over the length of the school year.
