Helias Catholic recognizes Students of the Month for February 2024
Helias Catholic High School’s Students of the Month for February 2024 are senior Jada Markway, junior Claire Huntley, sophomore Stephen Kummer and freshman Annabelle Mullis.
Jada Markway, daughter of Marcia Boessen and Jeremia Markway, is involved in Campus Ministry, French Club, tennis, International Club, National Honor Society, Zonta and Be Kind Club at Helias Catholic. She has been a Student Ambassador and FROSH Camp leader. She is a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Wardsville. The faculty member who nominated Jada said she is a “kind, caring and Christlike presence in our school.”
Claire Huntley, daughter of Guy and Laura Huntley, is involved in cheer, Concert Choir, Show Choir, competitive theater and liturgical choir. She is also involved in the spring musical and will star as Sandy in this year’s production of “Grease.” She is a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jefferson City. The faculty members who nominated Claire noted her dedication to excellence in academics and her musical pursuits.
Stephen Kummer, son of Gloria and Stephen Kummer, is involved in the Robotics Club and Esports Team at Helias Catholic. He is a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Jefferson City. The faculty member who nominated Stephen noted his thoughtful participation in class discussions and generosity with his time.
Annabelle Mullis, daughter of Deanan Mullis and Jeremy Mullis, is involved in Student Council and a discipleship group at Helias Catholic and is a team manager for freshman volleyball. She is a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Holts Summit. The faculty member who nominated Annabelle noted the kindness and respect she consistently shows to other students.
