Campus Ministry students share Stations of the Cross reflections
Senior students in Helias Catholic Campus Ministry’s peer ministry leadership class have developed for this Lenten season a series of reflections on the Stations of the Cross.
The purpose of Helias Catholic’s peer ministry program is to cultivate a campus ministry for students by students. Senior students who serve as peer ministers — 29 this year — focus on formation and discipleship in order to share the faith and serve our school community as spiritual leaders. These students put their faith into action through leadership in campus ministry events such as school liturgies and retreats throughout the school year and have provided special reflection series during Advent and Lent.
This Lent, Helias Catholic’s 2023-24 peer ministers developed an original series of reflections, titled “Seen. Known. Loved.”, to accompany all 14 Stations of the Cross. Helias Catholic students and staff will use these reflections to pray the Stations of the Cross throughout the Lenten season, and it is available on the school website for anyone in our school community interested in using it as a prayer resource.
