Sam Wyrick breaks 1 school record, ties another

2024 Helias Catholic High School graduate Sam Wyrick, who just finished his high school baseball career as a varsity pitcher for the Crusaders, has set a new school record for career ERA.

Sam’s career ERA of 0.71 broke the previous record of 1.05 set by David Reinkemeyer in 1985.

Sam also tied the school record for career hits with 101 hits, a stat he now shares with Rob McCurren from 1986-1988.

Sam has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at the collegiate level for the University of Central Missouri.

Congratulations, Sam!
