Mrs. Ponce, a new teacher at Helias Catholic High School, teaches math.

“I teach accelerated geometry, and accelerated algebra two, and ACT prep class,” Ponce said.

“I like what I teach,” Ponce commented.

 Just like everyone else they have their good days, and they have their bad days. 

“If I could teach any other class it would be one other class, a FACS class," Ponce says.

“I am from 5 different states and have worked all over those states,” Ponce said.

What brought Mrs. Ponce to Helias Catholic is the community that Helias Catholic has. Ponce said she also likes the school spirit of Helias Catholic.

“I really wanted to be a part of a community, I really love the values and everything that Helias stands for,” Ponce said. 

Ponce really likes the community at Helias Catholic. She wanted to be in a supportive community. 

“I like how supportive people are of each other,” Ponce said
