Congratulations to Colby Hentges ’01, an editor/producer who contributed to CNN’s 2024 Emmy win for Outstanding Breaking News Coverage.

Colby has worked nine years with CNN, which earned the award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for its live coverage of the Israel-Hamas war.

“Covering this conflict, any war really, is not glamorous. It can be hard work. Some of the videos and images can stay with you for days and weeks,” Hentges said. “So it does feel good when you get nationally recognized by your peers.”
