Cortney (Wolters) Holtmeyer ’11 will join the faculty at St. Joseph Cathedral School in Jefferson City as a first-grade teacher for the 2025-26 school year.

Cortney has a bachelor’s degree in special education from the University of Central Missouri and a master’s degree in special education with emphasis in early childhood special education from the University of Missouri.

She has been working for the Blair Oaks R-2 School District for the past 10 years. 

"As a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph Cathedral, graduate of SJCS, and mother of SJCS kids, I couldn’t be more excited to come home and begin my journey here as a teacher!” Cortney said. “There are few things more rewarding than helping children grow, and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to foster growth in a faith-filled academic setting. I’m looking forward to connecting with new families and having a great year in first grade!"
