Jack Crull '20 recognized for NCAA track career

Helias Catholic honored Jack Crull ’20 for his outstanding cross country and track achievements during the home varsity football game October 10, 2025.
During his time at Helias Catholic, Jack was a four-time All-State cross country runner and three-time All-State track runner.
Jack took his talents to Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. In his five years as a Bradley Brave, he earned 12 individual Missouri Valley Conference titles in various indoor and outdoor track middle distance events. He set multiple records, perhaps most notably his 3:55.93 mile time, set earlier this year, and still holds the Helias Catholic track record in the 1,600m and 3,200m.
Jack made three consecutive NCAA postseason appearances in his last three outdoor track seasons. This last season, he advanced for the first time ever to the NCAA Track Nationals in Eugene, Oregon, in the men’s 1,500m. In the championship race, he secured 1st Team All-American honors with a sixth-place finish.
Jack extended his racing this summer beyond NCAA and secured a qualifying time in the 1,500m to compete in the USA Track & Field National Championships in Eugene, Oregon, in late July. He was one of 36 men, including several Olympic athletes, who raced with the top three finishers advancing to the world championships.
