Catholic Charities is still in need of empty egg cartons. Please bring any empty egg cartons to the front office.


Helias Catholic's senior campus ministry leaders have organized a diaper drive to benefit the Pregnancy Help Center, who has expressed an extreme need for diapers to serve the families they help. The diaper drive will run from next Tuesday, Sept. 19, through the following Tuesday, Sept. 26.

Based on the success of the diaper drive, students can receive incentives on Wednesday, Sept. 27:

  • 5,000 Diapers Collected = Full Dress Down Day

  • 10,000 Diapers Collected = Full Dress Down Day + Central Dairy Ice Cream Cups

  • 15,000 Diapers Collected = Full Dress Down Day + Central Dairy Ice Cream Cups + "Recess Time" (games and events at the Crusader Athletic Complex)

Forms to bring a visiting guest to the Helias Catholic Homecoming dance are available for pick up at the front office. These forms must be completed and returned to the front office no later than Wednesday, September 27th at 3 p.m.

Student Ambassadors need to check your emails and StudentSquare regularly regarding upcoming Helias events as you may have received an assignment message. 


The Cole County Health Department will offer flu vaccinations for students at Helias Catholic High School on Tuesday, Oct. 24. To register to receive a flu shot at school, please complete the Flu Vaccination Consent Form found on Student Square and submit it via email to flushot@heliascatholic.com no later than today, Friday, Sept. 22.


There will be an introductory meeting for students interested in joining the Academic Team on Tuesday, Sept 26, from 3:05-3:35 p.m. in Mrs. Worthen's room (SC1). Academic Team involves teams of students working together to answer questions on a variety of subjects during competitions against other schools.   All students considering joining the Academic Team are welcome to attend this introductory meeting. Returning Academic Team members are welcome, but not required to attend the introductory meeting. 


As we continue forward into a great semester, remember our focus values for this semester: balance in our lives and work, accountability in all that we are responsible for, and adaptability when life throws us curve balls!
