This year marks the 20th anniversary of Helias Catholic High School's 2003 state champion softball team!

We will recognize members and coaches of the 2003 Lady Crusaders softball team during halftime of Helias Catholic's Homecoming football game, which starts at 7:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, at Ray Hentges Stadium in the Crusader Athletic Complex.

Led by Head Coach Dan Campbell, the 2003 Lady Crusaders softball team finished a near-perfect season with a 28-2 record and the program’s first ever state championship title. 

Throughout districts, sectionals, quarterfinals and state playoff games, Lauren Delaney pitched inning after inning of no-hit softball. Backed by a stellar defense, Lauren posted a perfect game for the state championship title.
