Helias Catholic recognizes October Students of the Month
Helias Catholic High School’s Students of the Month for October 2024 are senior Mary Iris Morrisey, junior Hannah Gerber, sophomore Andrew Walkenbach and freshman Tierney Harms.
Mary Iris Morrisey, daughter of Tracy Ritter and Richard Morrisey, is involved in Helias Catholic’s campus ministry program, a discipleship group, National Honor Society, the Growing with God club, Medical Club, Student Council, Student Ambassadors, and track and field team. She has been a FROSH Camp leader and was a member of the 2024 Homecoming Court Top 10. She is a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Jefferson City.
Hannah Gerber, daughter of Edward and Jennifer Gerber, is involved in Concert Choir, Liturgical Choir and the spring musical at Helias Catholic. She is a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Jefferson City.
Andrew Walkenbach, son of Sharon McBride and Eric Walkenbach, is involved in track and field, Concert Choir, Medical Club and French Club and is a varsity volleyball team manager at Helias Catholic. He also plays on a club volleyball team. He is a member of St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martins.
Tearnie Harms, daughter of Tiffany and Josh Wignall, is involved in Student Council, SPROUTS environmental club, French Club and Pickleball Club at Helias Catholic. She also is involved in YMCA volleyball and swim team and plays the piano. She is a member of First United Methodist Church in Jefferson City.
