Brianna Wieberg's dedication to the pro-life cause has taken her from Mid-Missouri all the way to the state of California.

Brianna, a 2018 graduate of Helias Catholic High School, currently serves as the California regional program manager for Sidewalk Advocates for Life, which works to create help and hope to end abortion.

"I had always grown up in a pro-life household with a firm foundation on our Catholic faith, and my mother would take us on the weekends to the Planned Parenthood in Columbia and St. Louis and we would pray and do prayer walks around the facility together," Brianna said. "God touched my heart and truly let me see these women who were hurt by abortion. Ever since that moment I had a deep desire to share the truth about abortion and seek different ways to get these families the help they needed in their unexpected pregnancies."

After graduating from Missouri Western State University, Brianna spent a year working as media coordinator for Vitae Foundation in Jefferson City. A cross-country move brought her to Sidewalk Advocates for Life.

"I wanted to be hands on, at the facility helping these women in one of the worst abortion destination states in the country," Brianna said.

In just a year with the organization, she has trained over 100 individuals interested in sidewalk advocacy near local abortion facilities. These advocates offer resources to women considering abortion and families struggling with unexpected pregnancy. Sidewalk Advocates for Life works with pregnancy centers, community organizations, and churches to connect families in crisis to appropriate resources.

"It is so important to me because people deserve the truth and real options before they make a decision that is so detrimental like abortion," Brianna said. "I have witnessed women struggling with extreme pain, regret, and depression due to their abortion experience; and I want to educate, support, and love these families so that they have a chance to make a more life-saving decision that they won’t regret in the future."

"We have saved six babies in the span of a year and have helped countless others leave the abortion facility. We do it all for the Lord’s purpose and give all the glory to Him."
