Helias Catholic archery's Team 1 took third place in the state tournament, and Team 2 finished 20th out of 51.

2025 graduates Richard Mosha and Anna Schatte finished in the top 60 entries in the nation for Duo Interpretation in Competitive Speech, Theatre, and Debate. Richard and Anna now qualify for NIETOC octofinals.

Eight Helias Catholic Competitive Theatre, Speech, and Debate students represented Helias Catholic in nine events at the MSHSAA state tournament, bringing home three state honors. Richard Mosha and Anna Schatte placed 1st in Duo Interpretation. Anna Schatte placed 5th in Dramatic Interpretation. Chloe Till placed 6th in Radio Speaking.

The Helias Catholic Shotgun Sports team's Squad 1, made up of Hayden Brauner, Cale Castrop, Jack Schwartz, Jack Scheperle, and Gavin Wilson, won second place in the high school category at the Paul Larsen State Championship.

Helias Catholic sophomore Sofia Doolittle has been nominated to attend the 2025 Missouri Leadership Seminar. Sofia has a 4.0 GPA and has earned A Honor Roll recognition in each semester of high school so far. She is a member of the Helias Catholic girls soccer and basketball teams and is involved in Student Council and Growing With God.

Helias Catholic sophomore AnnaJo Hill has been nominated to attend the 2025 Missouri Scholars Academy. AnnaJo has maintained a 4.0 GPA and earned A Honor Roll recognition in each semester of high school so far. She is a member of Helias Catholic's softball and track and field teams.

2025 Helias Catholic graduate Grace Luebbering was recognized during the Missouri State FFA Convention for her Area Winning Proficiency in Outdoor Recreation. Grace has worked for JC Parks for the past two summers with their summer camps and participated in the Nichols Career Center FFA chapter. |

Four students in Mrs. Sharon Crider’s World History class earned recognition in the Judicial Learning Center's "Juries: Through the Eyes of Students" art contest.
Freshman Josh Quinones won third place for his submission, "Divided by Lives, United by Jury Duty."
Sophomore Josie Meystrik earned Honorable Mention for her work, "Juries at Work."
Sophomore Ava Rackers earned Honorable Mention for her work, "The Case of the Stolen Money."
Sophomore Jenna Rembecki earned Honorable Mention for her work, "Their Future, My Choice."
These students' original work will be on display in the Jury Assembly Room of the Thomas F. Eagleton U.S. Courthouse in St. Louis for the next year.

Helias Catholic High School track and field student-athletes broke several school records during the district meet May 17.
Sophomore Isla Alfultis set three new individual school records:
In the 100m run, Isla ran a 12.00 to break her own record of 12.15 set earlier this season.
In the 200m run, Isla’s time of 24.45 seconds broke the previous record of 24.84 set by Anna Vollet in 2018.
In the 300m hurdles at 44.38, Isla broke her own record of 44.43 set earlier this season.
The girls 4x200 relay team of Isla Alfultis, Deaven Duemmel, Corynn Frank, and Kenadi Harrison set a new school record with a time of 1:42:29.
Helias Catholic track and field student-athletes established school records in three new events at the Ron Clawson Relays in Warrensburg on March 29:
The team of Ashlyn Jennings, Jayli Howell, Leah Polley, and Sierra Zuck set a school record of 1:11.36 for girls 4x100m hurdles.
The team of Lauren Verslues, Kate Rodemann, Nolie Finnegan, and Emmerie Patek set a school record of 24:19.22 for girls 4x1600m.
The team of Julian Schmidt, Noah Doolittle, Quade Edwards, and Michael Malmstrom set a school record of 1:09.87 in 4x110m hurdles.

The Helias Catholic boys golf team of Lake Bennett, Harper Neidert, Grayson Moore, Dawson Schnieders, and Andre Vargas set a new school record for 18-hole team score with a total of 289 strokes in their district championship win May 12 at Briarbrook Golf Course.
The standing record of 291 was first set in 2003 by the team of Connor McHenry, Troy Scherr, Todd Schonhardt and Andrew Dampf, then tied in 2024 by the team of Archer Schnieders, Dawson Schnieders, Burke Bauer, and Jordan Shivers.
