Homecoming Parade Grand Marshal

Posted Date: 9/23/25 (7:34 AM)

If you’re attending the Homecoming Parade, be sure to cheer for Grand Marshal Larry Kolb ’68 as he leads the way!
Larry’s lifelong connection to Helias Catholic reflects the true Crusader spirit of faith, friendship, and service. From serving as class treasurer with the Class of 1968 to supporting Foundation drives, golf tournaments, and the Athletic Booster Club, Larry has continually given back to his alma mater.
“My hope is to see Helias Catholic enrollment continue to grow to its maximum capacity. The new Spirit of Excellence expansion is incredible and will offer so many more opportunities for educational experiences at Helias Catholic.”
For Larry, encouraging others to stay engaged with their alma mater comes down to lasting relationships. “It is because of Helias that my life is where it is today, and I will always be a part of my alma mater.”
Larry and his wife, Cathy—who taught at Helias from 1980 to 1988—have remained dedicated to the growth and future of our school community. Larry’s guiding words capture it best: “Service to humanity is the best work of life. I strive to achieve that every day.”
